A permanent show in Manhattan: a fire truck with shiny chrome and all lights flashing, rushing foot down the wide avenues of this New York Island, in a mixture of wailing sirens sounding on the facades of skyscrapers and blow of horns that unequivocally make you understand that it is better to clear the way …
And that’s how we cannot be surprised, upon returning from a stay in this big apple to take back in our luggages a small scale version of one of these beautiful red trucks, for the happiness of one or two little boys who dreamed of being firemen

Two extremes on urban transport and pollution. The good example first : cycling and public transport, which are certainly the cleaner means of conveyance, whatever the city where you are.
