The great waterfall of Narreyroux valley
Here are three views of the same high waterfall located in the valley of Narreyroux in the Ecrins country.
Firstly, an overview of this beautiful waterfall, taken from the trail to the waterfall after climbing this small valley. The air is cooled by the spray generated by the high throughput of this gorgeous cascade. Rhododendron bushes and flowers along the path, contrast and bright colors in this picture with the surrounding landscape.

Then it is possible to go a little along the waterfall, wallking on a small path, a little steeper. However, be very careful as you approach the edge, soil or rocks are wet and slippery (as this is often the case near waterfalls), and this was even more this morning that it had just rained a few moment ago.

Here is a beautiful mountain waterfall through a small wood, lined with rhododendron bushes in bloom. Situated 2100 meters above sea level, this mountain waterfall reward the many walkers and hikers who cross the flowery meadows of the valley of Narreyroux in the land of Ecrins (french Alps). Hikers bravest will after this nice stop continue along the trail up to the Col du Bal (2601m).

Hiking in the mountains
French Alps: On the mountain of the Flégère in the Aiguilles Rouges nature reserve, these hikers return from a walk around White Lake. Along this very popular hiking trail that returns from White Lake to the Flégère cableway station, they are passed in front of magnificent mountain scenery: overhanging the valley of Chamonix, needle Grands Montets, Aiguille Verte (photo below, under the clouds) and Dru (right of photo), the Mer de Glace glacier, all this with the Mont Blanc summit in the landscape background. After a well-deserved break viewing this panorama, it’s left to do their back to the valley by cable car from the Flégère.
