Many of you came on Landscape-Photo.net & Photo-Paysage.com in 2009 (1,144,325 unique visitors). Again, thank you all for your loyalty and your many messages of encouragement!

2009 has been under the sign of a sudden ecological, with a significant and encouraging global mobilization for the Copenhagen conference. Thus, in addition to the mobilization of governments, 15 million people worldwide, were mobilized after the call Tcktcktck of Kofi Annan.

But the Danish mountain gave birth to a mouse: the short-term economic interests of  greats of this world have once again prevailed over the general interest in the long term for the entire planet. At the end of this conference we can feel like a morning of January 1st: with an unpleasant sensation of a hangover!

Clearly, COP15 was really disappointing, and we can be certain that the “goals” for reducing CO² emissions, set at the end of this conference, will not prevent climate from warm, not only because these targets are insufficient by themselves, but mainly because the absence of any constraints, and the fact that nobody can be sure that  the governments will really respect what is currently a simple addition of political promises . : (

Yet the party is not over yet, the Earth continues to rotate… and the thermometer to rise: there are still rendez-vous in 2010, Bonn in June, and in Mexico in autumn, which will make an important clarification of the blur drawed by COP15 actors. We can hope our governments will finish the job they began in Danemark…

Until then, I wish you a happy new year 2010 !
