Also in the series of photos of the Normandy coast, and especially the coast of alabaster, here is an image taken after a very pleasant promenade between valley of Antifer and valley of Curé (south and north of Etretat) . A few well-deserved rest from observing the heights of the Manneporte these magnificent cliffs lit by the reddening glow of the sun. On the horizon, behind the Cliff of the Courtine, are distinguished in the mist the lighthouse of Antifer. While the morning hiking trails along which the edge of these cliffs were deserted in late afternoon many were those who had come to attend the sunset from the beach or cliffs at Etretat.
