This photo was taken on Lake Salagou in December 2006 just before sunrise. A little frost covered, at the foot of reeds, the red clay on the banks of this artificial lake. The road to reach this morning there was icing and ice in places, and it gave under the glow of the car headlights a surreal atmosphere. In the distance (not visible in this picture), fishermen had also stirred by the fresh (temperature were -4C °), already at work on their boat in the middle of a fog surface which began to dissipate as the first glimmers of the sun.
