Last sunday was a nice and sunny afternoon, it was pleasant to make some tourism… and difficult to resist to the temptation of taking photos of a very classic and famous place : the -recently restored- front of Notre Dame de Paris cathedral, whereof its majestic silhouette has been already captured millions of times on films or digital ccds… Close to this place, just behind the Hôtel de Ville, sits a monument maybe not as famous as Notre Dame, but which is still a nice and classic monument of Paris : the Saint Gervais & Saint Protais church, one of the oldest church in Paris (13rd century).

1 Comment on Paris monuments : Notre Dame, and St Gervais/St Protais

Beautiful light – that kind of orangy sort of glow up against the stone – so distinctive of the setting sun.
